My Photograph “Walking in the Fog” Received an Honorable Mention in Photography Contest

I woke up Sunday morning to an email congratulating me on one of my photographs receiving an honorable mention. It was from the ND Awards, a photography contest that I had entered earlier in the year. In all, I submitted three photographs, and I was happy that one of them received some recognition.

All three of my photographs were submitted in the “Street Photography” category. They also break it down between Amateur and Professional. All of mine were submitted in the Professional category. The award winning photo is above and here are the other two entries I submitted:

I honestly think that these last two photographs are superior to the one that was selected by the judges, but alas, photography is subjective. In any case, I am just happy that a piece of art I have created was recognized by others as being something special. Granted, I didn’t place in the top three, but to have one of my photos singled out amongst so many fantastic entries leaves me feeling happy.
